Q.01 What motor can be operated in CPD series?
If servo motors/stepping motors are motors for positioning, and the drivers (amplifiers) have pulse sequence input, CPD series will not choose partners..Uses of different motors for every axis are also possible. The example often used is given to below.
Servo motor: YASKAWA Electric, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, Sanyo Denki, others
Stepping motor: Oriental motor, Sanyo Denki, the Asahi engineering, others
Q.02 What is needed in addition to CPD boards for positioning control?
A motor + driver (amplifier), PC (the thing and development environment where OS was installed are included), and control software (according to equipment, it creates by the user) are required.
Q.03 Are standard accessories attached if CPD boards are purchased?
One FD (standard appending software) and user's manual 1set (the community section, individual section and software section, one volume each) are attached. (In a part of case of extensive delivery, it may omit)'

Q.06 What can be used for development environment?
The standard sample program objects for VC/VB for Windows are appended (the contents are equivalent),so if the contents of appending are copied to which environment the whole circle at HDD, you can build & perform immediately. *3 Moreover, if it is the environment which can call DLL also in other environments, you can use. (Example : Borland C++Builder, LavVIEW, others)

*3 When using the whole project file, it becomes correspondence of VB5.0 and VB6.0 after VC++5.0.
Q.07 Is moving immediately possible after buying ?
A Windows personal computer is prepared.
1. Insert a board in a slot.
2. Install driver software.
3. Make a test run by the program "Trial Tour". (Check of operation by screen display without a connector) Moreover, connection of user creation, wiring and others can be checked by this program "Trial Tour."
If it connects with machine equipments such as XY table or motor + driver (amplifier), the check accompanied by actual operation is possible.

Q.08 Although there are positioning units also in sequencers, what are the merits using boards?
Although there are merits and demerits in both of the systems, there are the following features.
Sequencer :Program creation is quick if it is an easy motion of the range currently prepared
:Amendment in the spot is also easy.
:Program acquisition is easy.
:Motion except the pattern currently prepared can't be performed.'
:Combination with other makers' circumference unit is not made(Any units other except makers can't be used)
:High-speed timing synchronizations are weak.
:If the number of axes increases, gap (delay) will arise to timing.
Board :According to a program, all operation is realizable.
:Units can be selected, combined and used at functions, performances, and prices out of many bus standard products (dependent on specific makers)
Example: Combination with an image-processing board etc.
:Datas use on PC, datas output, and use and cooperation of the PC environment are easy.
Example: Operations by CAD data, the Excel output of measurement datas, datas storage to HDD,
Man/machine interface creation by the Windows screen, use of the LAN environment, etc. are possible.(on application programs)
:Even if the number of axes increases, the timing synchronizations are possible at not gap and high speed.

Q.09 What are the merits which choose CPD boards in board products?
High efficiency

Q.10 What kind of correspondence buses is there?

Q.11 What axis is there on one board?
There are products of 2 to 8 axes on the basis of 4 axis products.
Q.12 How is correspondence to many axes ?
Two or more sheet board can use it simultaneously. There is a board ID in order to make discernment of PCI, compactPCI, and a USB product intelligible (zero to 15 setup is possible).
Moreover, if you specify synchronous operation (simultaneous start / stop) with the axes over two or more sheets at the time of order, we ship "simultaneous operation of an option" and "connector mounting." (except USB products)
Q.13 Is it necessary to prepare an external power supply?
It is necessary to take into consideration about the following three uses.

Q.14 How is necessary just to make connection (wiring) with the exterior?
There are exclusive cables (2m standard / special order is possible) linked to the half pitch connector (MDR) of boards and connector boards for options.

Q.15 What input and output does it have in addition to the pulse output?
:An axial sensor (input): + end limit, -end limit, deceleration point, origin

*5 Board form "CPDx3x" or "CPDx7x" has all input and output.
(The addition function of "CPDx7x" is increasing further)
Part of input and output of products smaller than "3" are omitted by relations of the number of connector pins,.
Q.16 Are there any general-purpose input and output (I/O)?
The inside of I/O prepared as a Pservo interface, - input: In position - output: servo-ON and servo-reset, diversion per each axis is possible for them.
If they are 4 axis boards, 8 inputs / 4 outputs can be diverted to some other purpose.
When diversion is impossible or insufficient, we are preparing separately the input / output board of 48 points (24i/24o, or 32i / 16o change is possible) or 80 points (40i/40o).

Q.17 Can a specific function be added?
We can make comparatively the custom-made article of specification peculiar to a user even from the amount of small for a standard specification article at a base. Please consult freely.
Q.18 Can cooperation operation be performed with image processing (camera), dispenser, etc?
The timing output of the moment the axis under movement passed specific coordinates is possible. Moreover, the timing output which cuts a shutter with a fixed pitch repetition, or can do ON/OFF of dispenser is possible. (Especially HPCI-CPD578 has this timing output for every axis.)
